About Stephanie Fuller

Paris, France
In the late 2000s, before social strategy was a job title, I was already doing it; I just didn't have a name for it yet. I was tweeting at famous DJs to play at college after-parties, managing indie artists' Facebook pages, and building word of mouth because I genuinely believed in what I was sharing. I have always been fascinated by how people connect around shared taste, and that's why I've spent my career trying to build something worth connecting around.
In 2013 I settled a high-stakes creative argument on a major global campaign by running an ad test with a photograph from my own phone. In 2024 I settled another one by putting synthetic voiceover into a paid matrix in its first year of availability. In between, five years of always-on advertising for Mastercard with no creative team and no photography budget, and two years shipping a hundred paid assets a month in-house. The tools have changed completely. The method hasn't: write the positioning, make the asset, run the test, read the result.
Fifteen years of agency work at R/GA and McCann, working inside Facebook on features that would engage billions of users, and leading brand creative at Thatgamecompany gave that understanding a professional home — across brand strategy, audience intelligence, creative direction, and the organizational leadership that determines what actually gets made.
Recently I've been focused on companies building things people don't understand yet. My background is in translating genuinely complex, unfamiliar products into stories that earn belief, and it's where I'm increasingly spending my time.
